Ik heb ruim 6 jaar gewerkt als operatieassistent in Haaglanden Medisch Centrum (HMC). Daarna heb ik de opleiding tot Physician Assistant cum laude afgerond aan de Hogeschool van Utrecht. Ik volg op dit moment de Master Kwaliteit en Veiligheid in de Patiëntenzorg aan de Radboud Universiteit in Nijmegen.

Ik houd me niet alleen bezig met de zorg voor patiënten. Ik ben ook kwaliteitscoördinator van het Universitair Neurochirurgisch Centrum Holland (UNCH) en voorzitter van de Vakgroep Neurochirurgie van de Nederlandse Associatie Physician Assistants (NAPA).
