“Sinds 2024 werk ik als fysiotherapeut in HMC Westeinde. Ik werk vooral op de verpleegafdeling Neurochirurgie. Daar help ik mensen na een operatie aan de hersenen of wervelkolom.

De patiënt en ik werken samen aan zo goed mogelijk lichamelijk functioneren. Dat is vaak moeilijker dan het lijkt. Ook is dit voor iedere patiënt anders. De patiënt en ik zoeken samen uit hoe we dit doel kunnen bereiken, ondanks de fysieke beperking.

Tijdens dit proces werk ik samen met andere zorgverleners. Ook betrekken we regelmatig de familie hierbij. Deze samenwerking maakt mijn werk mooi.”
