Ik studeerde Geneeskunde aan de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam (EUR). Daarna deed ik mijn opleiding tot neurochirurg in het Leids Universitair Medisch Centrum (LUMC). Sinds 2017 werk ik als neurochirurg voor Neurospine in het HagaZiekenhuis in Den Haag. Ik werk ook in het Spaarne Gasthuis, het Groene Hart Ziekenhuis en Haaglanden Medisch Centrum (HMC).
