Bewaar-/transportcondities Om een optimale leefbaarheid van de micro-organismen te behouden, is het aanbevolen om het materiaal zo snel mogelijk naar het laboratorium te transporteren. Tot aan het transport wordt het materiaal koel bewaard gedurende maximaal 48 uur.

Duur onderzoek 1 - 3 dagen
Referentie/interpretatie van het onderzoek
  • De incubatieperiode is 4 tot 6 weken.
  • IgM daalt in ca. 6 maanden totondetecteerbaar niveau.
  • IgG blijft na vaccinatie of infectie levenslang aantoonbaar.
Bijzonderheden Recent opgelopen hepatitis A infectie is een meldingsplichtige infectieziekte van groep B2.
