Referentie/interpretatie van het onderzoek Positieve microscopie is bewijzend voor infectie. Negatieve microscopie sluit de infectie niet uit.Over de sensitiviteit van antigeendetectie in serum zijn geen gegevens bekend, maar is waarschijnlijk hoger dan microscopie.
Bijzonderheden Het serologisch onderzoek wordt extern verricht.
