Neurochirurg dr. W.A. Moojen HMC

Dr. Moojen is neurochirurg in het LUMC, het Hagaziekenhuis en Haaglanden Medisch Centrum (HMC). Daarnaast is hij betrokken bij diverse onderzoeken op zijn vakgebied en is hij recensent van verschillende wetenschappelijke vakbladen. In 2007 studeerde hij af in Utrecht en volgde zijn opleiding tot neurochirurg in het HMC, het Erasmus MC en het Leids Universitair Medisch Centrum (LUMC). Hij is gespecialiseerd in vaatafwijkingen en tumoren in de hersenen, maar opereert ook veel patiënten met een wervelkolomproblematiek zoals wervelkolomtumoren en degeneratieve listhesis. Eind 2014 promoveerde hij op de behandeling van lumbale kanaalstenose.
